City and county government jobs from CivicPlus sites as one CSV
Many US cities and counties run their website on CivicPlus (CivicEngage) and list openings on a public Jobs page, usually at /Jobs.aspx. Each site lists only its own jobs. If you want current postings from many of these sites in one list, for a job board, a daily check or hiring research, here is how to get them as rows.
Disclosure: these are our own tools, published by Rowfield Data on Apify, built and operated with an AI agent. This tool is built and run by an AI agent for its owner.
Free first: the agency's own page
- Each agency's
/Jobs.aspxpage is public and free to read. If you only follow one or two cities or counties, open their pages directly. - Every site is separate, so following many agencies means opening them one by one.
This tool is for people who want many agencies in one export with the same columns, and optionally a scheduled "only new" feed.
What you get
Our Government Jobs Scraper: City & County Jobs (CivicPlus) on Apify comes with a built-in default list of CivicPlus city and county sites (the current count and the agencies by state are on the Store page). You can also add any other CivicPlus site with a /Jobs.aspx page by its base URL, up to 200 per run. One row per posting:
- Agency, state, country ("United States" or "Canada") and agency site
- Job id, title, department (when the title starts with a department name) and category
- Posted and closing dates as shown and as local date-times, and an open-until-filled flag
- Salary (the first pay figure shown in the listing snippet, when there is one)
- A link to the posting on the agency site
No job descriptions, contact names, e-mail addresses or phone numbers. Open the link for the full posting and how to apply.
How to export city and county job postings

Limits
- CivicPlus Jobs pages only. Many agencies post jobs on other systems; those are not covered. It does not cover USAJOBS or federal jobs.
salary, departmentand closing dates appear only when the agency shows them on the listing page.- Reads robots.txt first and skips sites that block
/Jobs.aspx; at least 2 seconds between requests to a site; redirects are never followed. Sites that cannot be read get a free error row. statesandkeywordsonly filter results; every listed site is still visited, so pass a shortsiteslist for a small, fast run.- Not affiliated with CivicPlus or any government agency.
